What Causes Sore Throat And Black Colored Vomiting?

Hi, Had a sore throat for a èw days and went home from work half day feeling a bit unwell -nothing specific, just generally unwel, tired with the sore throat, no fever or other symptoms. Got home and started vomiting. Vomited for 2 days. At firrt was normal bile colour, towards end it was dark grey, almost black. 24hrs prior to vomiting had not eaten much due to sore throat. Any info much appreciated. Will go to my gp next week.

hi...if you had a spontaneous projectile type of vomiting after coughing, please go and get evaluated better by a gastroenterologist or ENT surgeon. It could be severe gstritis. He might advice you an upper GI endoscopy. It could be blood in your vomitus which turned black on coming in contact with gastric acid. You start with tab Pantoprazole 40mg once a day empty stomach and syp mucaine gel 2 tsf BD. Better seek an early medical advice. Good luck.
