What Causes Sore Throat And Black String On The Bottom Of Throat?

I am on a cpap machine at night . I sometimes get sore throats from it. The other night I was checking my throat and saw small black string shaped object on the left side of the bottom of my throat. It has never been there before. Its been there for over 3 weeks now. I finally poked it with a Q tip and it bled. Does that mean it is a blood vessel and is it normal to have one in that area?

Dear due to irritation of wall of throat ,these symptoms could happen.I would suggest you to get checked by your treating physician first to rule out any polyp or infection,so it can be treated accordingly.
