What Causes Sore Throat And Blocked Nose Without Fever?
hi, I am Malvinder .my son 13 year old is complaining about sore throat and nasal blockage with feeling like heaviness at upper nose near eyes. sneezing and cough also take place but no fewer.is it virial or bacterial? what anti biotic is recommanded?

I ma afraid he might require antibiotics under these circumstances. Antibiotics are prescribed either to treat or prevent infection by bacteria under specific conditions. This might a state of a chronic allergic condition and might require the child to go a course of steroid therapy. An ENT examination and opinion is also important to exclude any possibility of nasal polyps. KInd regards
