What Causes Sore Throat And Congested Nose?

So I have this oddly sore throat and a stuffy nose for two days and I can t seem to figure out what it is. No cold medications are helping and it just seems to be staying the same. The only thing I can associate it with is I ve been spending a lot of time around our new kitten. Do you think I might have a cat allergy or is it just a cold? What do you recommend I do to get rid of this? And lastly along with all of this I ve been feeling light headed and slightly woozy. Thank you so much for your time.

Diabetologist 's  Response
Hi,

Please take Tab. Azithromycin one tablet per day for three days. Also Tab. levocetirizine twice daily for five days. Avoid cold Water and weather. If this also fails, then you have to think of allergy to your pet.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Phanindra Dulipala, Diabetologist
