Hi,
I have had a sore throat accompanied by an ear ache only when I swallow. The pain is moderate to severe at times. It is a task to swallow. My voice is gone and recently my eye has become goopy. I also have a dry harsh cough. I dont smoke or drink. looking forward to your help. Thank you!

Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query. The difficulty in swallowing and pain in the ear can be because of the throat infection secondary to bacterial infection. Nothing to be panic, consult an ENT surgeon and get it evaluated. Meanwhile you can take a course of antibiotics like amoxicillin and metronidazole combination ( if you are not allergic ). Do saline gargling. I hope I have answered your query. Take care
