What Causes Sore Throat And Sticking Epiglottis In The Back Of My Throat?

Hi, I have a sore throat and I can see my epiglottis sticking up in the back of my throat, when I drink coffee or tea, sometimes I get an irritation feeling in the back of my throat, and I've always struggled in swallowing promptly, taking pills has always been a challenge for me, could my epiglottis have something to do with this?

Hello!
many people will be able to see their epiglottis and it is not abnormal!
However if it is infected or swollen, then it may cause the irritation!!
i would like you to meet your ent doctor, he will check your throat and guide you further!!
