What Causes Sore Throat And White Dot In Back Of Throat?

For 2 days I have had sore-throat pain upon swallowing, but only on the right side of my throat. I looked this morning and I have a white dot in the back of my throat on the right side. It's not in that "pocket", but on the surface near the "pocket".

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The sore throat can be because of the bacterial infection. The white spot can be because of the tonsillolith or candidiasis. Nothing to be panic, consult an ENT surgeon and get it evaluated. If it is a bacterial infection, you can take a course of antibiotics like amoxicillin(if you are not allergic). If it is a tonsillolith, it has to be removed surgically. If it is candidiasis, you can use topical antifungal like clotrimazole.
