It seems that you are suffering from Bacterial throat infection also known as Strep throat and the symptoms of throat pain that is Pharyngitis along with inflamed tonsils that is Tonsillitis seems to be due to it.. White patches that can be pus pockets further confirms towards strep throat.. For confirmation consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical and investigations like Thorat swab culture can help in diagnosis..
