What Causes Sore Throat, Congestion And Blisters On Throat?

I have a sore throat. Some what of a stuffy nose, greenish yellow phelm. On the hanging thing in back of throat there are red spots. There is a yellowish green blister on my throat. I have no tonsils they were removed a year ago from chronic tonsillitis. Just below my adams apple it feels like im swallowing a lump and is painful.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sore throat, congestion and blisters on throat. Well these symptoms are due to sinusitis and upper respiratory tract infection. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles 2-3 times a day. You should take steam inhalation twice a day. Maintain proper hygiene. Drink plenty of water and liquids. Take paracetamol for fever and headache. Maintain proper hygiene and drink plenty of fluids. Consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics amoxiclav at least for 10 days along with decongestant. Doctor may order test like swab test , blood test to rule out condition like acid reflux and strep throat.
