What Causes Sore Throat, Ear Pain And Burning Sensation In The Tongue?
Yes I have been having sore throat earaches also burning of the tongue with certain foods.Lots of discomfort.I tend to use denture creams because I have poor fitting dentures.I so afraid of getting oral cancer. It's a problem at this time to purchase new dentures for at least 3months.My dentures are over 10 to 15 years old.welcome any suggestions thanks.
Well, sore throat, earache and burning of tongue with certain food can be due to allergic reaction to any foods that are specific to cause the symptoms while it can also be due to side effect of the denture adhesive..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigation like blood tests and throat swab culture can help in diagnosis and treated accordingly..
As of now you can take anti allergics like Levocetrizine, anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen and also gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine.. Suck ice pops..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
