General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello and welcome
i am Dr BR Hudda answering your question
I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Looking at history this could be URTI or Chicken Pox

I see similar cases amongst young people who visit my clinic. In the first meeting, I advise my patients to get blood test done for complete blood count ESR and CRP

please visit your doctor for detailed examination and above mentioned tests
she may need a course of antibiotics preferably penicillin group
you can give her a cough syrup and decongestant
ask her for warm saline gargles

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you and your daughter good health.
