What Causes Sore Throat, Fever And Abdominal Pain?
Hello my daughter is 21, going to college currently. She started last Sunday not feeling well, body aches, tired sore throat, she developed a fever of 102.5 and she s been to the minute clinic x2 and they ran strep Monday, neg, then she went to the hospital ewr but was told after 2 hours 1230 amshe would have to wait 3 more hours so she went home to bed and went back to the clinic weds am. They did strep send out and took blood for mono. Both neg today. She has developed chest/abdominal pain. She says her throat has many white patches pussy and gross. Frustrated so far away.

Dear your daughter may be suffering from viral pharyngitis with tonsillitis with viral myalgia.
She developed secondary bacterial infection or rule other causes for white patches thrush etc.
Start antibiotics, mouth gargling with salt water, antipyretic and decongestants.
If symptoms not improved consult your doctor.
