What Causes Sore Throat, Headache And Pain Behind Left Eye?

Been experiencing acute headache style pain behind my left eye. I do experience this off and on, but it has been constant since Thursday. Been using Tylenol and a cool wash rag to ease pain. I have had a cold with a sore throat since Wednesday. I am a diabetic on metformin, invokana and victoza. High blood pressure on lisinopil, metoprolol and a water pill.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It can be a pharyngitis or sinusitis. Consult a general practitioner and start a short course or antibiotics. You cam also try steam inhalation for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family physician
