What Causes Sore Throat, Headache And Swallowing Difficulty?

Have had coughing, sore throat, headaches for last two weeks. Coughing still bad and throat still sore especially in the morning and gets better and around 6 pm starts getting really sore and hard to swallow. My tongue is very sore now and feels swollen And is white with red bumps in the back. Headache and achy body is gone. How long is this going to last?

Hello,

Tonsillitis may be the cause of sore throat, difficulty swallowing and headache. Headache may be a sign of fever. Antibiotics may be needed.
