What Causes Sore Throat, Headache, Fever, Ear Pain And Fatigue?

Wondering what I can do, if anything, to speed up recovery for my daughter who was seen by the Dr yesterday with sore throat, headache, fever less than 100 for less than 2 days, ear pain in one ear, and general fatigue etc. Strep test was negative and Dr said it was probably viral and did not prescribe anything

Hello,

For the viral pharyngitis symptomatic treatment should be done.

For sore throat and fever, you need to prescribed paracetamol sos for your daughter.

To lower her symptoms decongestant can be prescribed like levocetirizine.

Vitamin C chewable tablet also can be prescribed. So your daughter can be prescribed all these medications but no need for an antibiotic.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
