What Causes Sore Throat On Left Side?

I have had a sore throat on one side for about 5 days now, left side, also affecting my ear, that s why I m not sure which it could be. My throat is also tender to touch on outside around middle of throat. No temp, no other symptoms, just a one sided sore throat but my concern is why the outside is sore to touch? Also have to clear my throat once in a while.

Hi
You are suffering from an upper respiratory tract infection probably tonsilitis. It can give you the presentation you just described.Mostly cause by respiratory viral or bacterial infection.Frequent sips of water, a steroidal anti-inflammatory like dexamethasone and amoxicillin antibiotic will help in your case.
