What Causes Sore Throat, Stuffy Nose And Fatigue?

I got a sore throat 5 weeks ago. It got so bad I could not swallow or eat, but I was producing excessive saliva. I also had a fever and body aches. I got put on a 20 day course of antibiotics and I got a lot better, however I still had a snotty nose. Exactly a month later I got sick with the exact same symptoms, I saw a different doctor and she said it was also a sinus infection. I got put on a 10 day course of antibiotics, Blaxsig . They improved my throat however I m still quite fatigued and have a snotty nose and mucus. I finished the course of antibiotics yesterday and my throat is beginning to feel sore again and my lymph nodes have swollen up. I m not sure what is causing this!

Hello,

You need investigations, CBC / X-ray chest PA / ESR / Throat swab culture and sensitivity. You are having chronic symptoms, you have to rule out TB.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
