What Causes Sore Throat, Swollen Lymph Nodes, Cough And Red Spotted Tongue?
Hi, I had a cold all last week and now, I have a sore, very painful throat, with swollen lymph nodes, a cough, red spots on my tongue....i m also losing my voice...each day my voice gets lower and lower...no fever, blood pressure is good, and no rash. Any ideas?
Hi, Welcome to healthcare magic. I had gone through your question. I can understand your concern. This could be due to respiratory infection. Secondary to infection there will be enlarged lymph nodes. Red spots on the tongue could be enlarged taste buds. Loss of voice could be due to congestion. I recommend the following. 1) A course of antibiotics. 2) Analgesics like tablet paracetamol. 3) Expectorant cough syrup. 4) Adequate water to avoid dehydration. 5) Voice rest to prevent further damage to vocal mucosa and allow healing
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any questions, I am happy to help you. Wish you a speedy recovery and good health.
Regards,
