What Causes Sore Throat With Large Lump On Upper Throat?
I have had a bad cough for almost 2 months now. Four days ago, I got a sore throat, Then yesterday morning I awoke with a lump on the right side of my upper throat where my tonsils used to be, and a fairly large lump on the very back of my tongue, also on the right side. By about 3:00 or so, those lumps had gotten smaller, but now I have a semi-hard lump near the upper back right side of my mouth. This is very bothersome, red and sore.

You are suffering from acute tonsillopharyngitis.You need saline gargles,antibiotics and avoidance of anything cold
