What Causes Sore Throat With Pain On The Roof Of Mouth?
I had my top two wisdom teeth pulled eight days ago. My extraction sites are healing nicely. I have no pain in my mouth, except I am still suffering from an extremely sore throat every time I swallow. The roof of my mouth absolutely aches when I do so. Any idea what is causing this? How long will it last? It s been over a week!
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query. The soreness near the throat can be because of the aphthous ulcer or traumatic ulcer following extraction of the wisdom tooth. Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can apply topical analgesic like choline salicylate and topical anesthetic like lignocaine. Do saline gargling. I hope I have answered your query, take care.
