What Causes Sore Throat?
my gf appeared to have a throat infection 2 weeks ago. This resulted in a loss of voice for approx 2 days. she semed to recover from that and we went to greece last week. she still complained of a slight sore throat. In the last day or so the sore throat has got worse again and today has a temperature of 38.5 - under arm and is complaining of aching limbs...apart from taking paracetmol and using damp towls to cool her is there any other advice you have?

She is suffering from acute tonsilopharyngitis.see for any respiratory distress and if any go to ER.if uncomplicated tab amoxclav 625mg,tds,tab lcz,betadine gargle,tab inbrufen.
