What Causes Sore Throat,dry Chest And Blood In Cough?

My mother is taking Zen retard and T zosert for a long time. Doctor has suggested Q mind 3 months back only.
She is complaing about sore throat, dry chest, shrink inside chest, blood in the cough. Her 1 year old report said she has problem in liver dysfunction test.

Hi Dear !! Thanks for your query to HCM .
Read and reviewed your query and health concerns.
You seems to suffer from -drug induced (Q-mind and Zosert)Dry Cough/ or could be from sorethroat/ with resultant blood in cough.
The accompanied liver problem of the last year,would increase the blood in cough risk, in your case.
The dryness caused from zosert and Q-mind-could cause the dry cough,due to strong irritation of the dried out pharynx exposed to blast of incoming nasal air, would precipitate sorethroat and accompanied dry cough with it.
Plenty of fluids would reduce the dry cough and hence the resultant blood in cough.
Other causes as -accompanied TB lung / and others needs to be ruled out.

Hope this would help you to plan further care of this complex illness of yours.
