What Causes Sore Upon Removal Of Skin Tag Beside The Mouth?

I have a flap of skin on the right side of mouth by my cheek. It keeps getting bigger, so I lanced it with a sterile needle. A large amount of water came out of the puncture. I think the sore was caused by inhaling hard a constantly on my e cig. Should I go to the doctor if it gets worse?

Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain askin flap like structure on the cheek which on lancing released a lot of watery fluid seems to be most probably a Mucous cyst or a Mucocele..
It is generally caused due to traumatic injury to the cheek by some hard food or cheek bite leading to ruptue in the duct of minor salivary gland while there can also be due to formation of crystalline stones in the duct of the gland leading to clogging of duct, accumulation of saliva in the gland and swelling..
It is formed due to either blocked duct of the minor salivary gland or due to ruptured duct of the gland..
In case if it is resolved it is fine but in case of recurrence you should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..
As of now you should do concentrated salt water rinses twice a day for one week as it will help in complete removal of fluid and complete resolution of the lesion..
