Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I have noticed soreness and bumps/lumps located in the armpit areas of both arms. I initial thought that it might have been hairbumps, but they grow large, and then seem to go down. This cycle has been going on for several months now. I just want to see if this may be of any additional concerns. Thank you!
The symptoms seem to be related to folliculitis which is an infection of the hair follicle. I recommend to use an antibacterial soap to clean the area. I also suggest to use an antibiotic cream such as Neosporin cream for local application.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
