What Causes Soreness And Burning Sensation In The Buttock?
I have a sore at the base of my buttucks I put mupirocin and hydrocarbon cream. I have some burning. I could feel something blistering then I didn t. I looked today I have have a mucous blistering skin. It is where I sit . What can I do? MustI go into emergency? I am in a little pain I have experienced tight muscles and lower back pain.
As per my surgical experience, there can be various clinical conditions which present up as soreness and burning sensation in the buttock as:
- Fissure around anus region - Crack over skin from hard stool or constipation - Fungal or bacterial infection (usually has itching) - Sentinel skin tag (external hemorrhoid)
Primary relief with:
- Sitz bath (sitting in a tub filled with lukewarm water) 3 times a day - Avoid constipation with high fiber diet and laxative as liquid paraffin or bisacodyl tablet. Need a consultation with consultant surgeon for proper diagnosis and cure accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
