General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

As per my surgical experience, there can be various clinical conditions which present up as soreness and burning sensation in the buttock as:

- Fissure around anus region
- Crack over skin from hard stool or constipation
- Fungal or bacterial infection (usually has itching)
- Sentinel skin tag (external hemorrhoid)

Primary relief with:

- Sitz bath (sitting in a tub filled with lukewarm water) 3 times a day
- Avoid constipation with high fiber diet and laxative as liquid paraffin or bisacodyl tablet.
Need a consultation with consultant surgeon for proper diagnosis and cure accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
