What Causes Soreness And Pain In Ankles While On Clexane?

Hello. Two weeks ago I had a sore ankle which started to get painful and swell. This started in bothe ankles and then each knee became affected at different times. My gp has done all blood tests and can t find a reason. It is debilitating when it flares up only blood test that came back high was the inflammatory one. But don t know why all autoimmune tests have also been done. I did have a baby last yr and was on clexane injections due to unexplained miscarriages. During the pregnancy I had a lot of swelling and after the c section was admitted to hospital to have fluid remove. Initially I was diagnosed with heart problem but that has also been dismissed recently.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have soreness and pain in ankles while on Clexane. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like taking certain blood pressure medications , blood clot of the leg , venous insufficiency , organ failure , particularly in the heart, liver, or kidney .

The symptoms can also occur due to side effects of medicine your are taking. I would suggest you to lower your salt consumption , eat healthy and keep your legs elevated while lying down . Consult general practitioner for proper examination .

Doctor may order certain test like complete blood profile ,take history . Doctor may prescribe beta blockers along with diuretics or may refer you to cardiologist for heart problem or nephrologist for kidney problem .
