Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your symptoms could be due to gout, joint effusion due to injury and fasciitis. Exact diagnosis should be made by physical examination. So consult the orthopedics surgeon and undergo examination, blood tests like CBC, RA factor, and serum uric acid to rule out the cause.

Following treatment will help you:

1. Wear comfortable splint
2. Soak leg in warm water with added epsom salt
3. Wear comfortable foot wear
4. Tablet DAN-SR
5. Avoid excessive walking and standing

Other specific treatment depend on the specific cause.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sagar
