What Causes Soreness And Swelling In The Adam S Apple?
Hi, when i touched my adam s apple just at the pointy bit feels a bit sore. I m still recovering from flu but never noticed that if i touched my adam s it feels sore before. Anywhere else near my throat or neck that i touched doesn t feel sore or even swollen. Any ideas doc?

You may have developed a larygitis or a swelling/inflammation of your laryngeal cartilage (voice box) , this can occur after a flu and should generally subside in 3-5 days, if the pain increases or you develop change in voice, meet your ent doctor for examination and advice, otherwise dont worry , you will be fine!
