Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain and your medical history of taking
thyroxine tablets and recent history of having white coating on tongue along with treatment of infection, the symptoms seems more consistent with the symptoms of
Burning Mouth Syndrome in which there is soreness and
tingling sensation on the tongue and the
bad breath can be due to dryness in mouth and also oral infections..
Nothing to worry, consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and in case of Burning mouth syndrome he can advise you to gargle with a numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine for relief.
Take anti-inflammatory painkiller like
Ibuprofen.
Sucking ice pops and cold water rinses can further help..
Chew flavoured sugar free chewing gums as it help in stimulating saliva flow as well as mask the bad breath..
Drink plenty of water.
Avoid hot and spicy food and take a soft bland diet..
You will also be evaluated for oral infections and will be treated accordingly..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
