What Causes Soreness And White Bumps On Tongue While Taking Lamotrigine?
Hello Dr. Rynne, I have been experiencing a sore tongue for about a month now. It had gone away but now it s back again. It s sore with white bumps near the back and has a white film. Not sure if this is thrush or a side effect from a new medicine I was on Lamotrigine (just quit on Friday). Your thoughts please and thank you.

May be it is Lamotrigine side effect, but we can not be sure unless you stopped taking the drug and you can ask for an alternative.
