What Causes Soreness Around The Neck Along With Stiff Tongue?
hi, my friend has sore areas around her neck and a stiffness in her tongue/mouth area, which makes it hard to talk. She also suffers from many lumps in her breasts, these lumps have been checked and are not cancerous, but her breasts are very painful. She often feels down, for me it looks like she has hormonal problems, it also affects her sex drive, she does not feel like wanting sex eventhough we have very strong feelings for eachother
Understanding your concern . The soreness around the neck along with stiff tongue . In your case the most probable reason for stiffness of tongue and restricted movement . which seems to be due to two main reasons such as due to fungal infection/ oral thrush due to poor nutrition , poor oral hygiene and antibiotics in case of sinus infection. This dryness and the anemic condition as you mention in query further make the tongue pron to infection . I would suggest you to consult oral pathologist for proper examination and rule out causes like lichen planus and geographic tongue and also ENT surgeon for proper treatment of sinusitis . Avoid intake of sharp, spicy and fried food. For now clean your tongue properly and do antiseptic mouthwash rinses (Listerine), maintain proper oral hygiene , suck on sugar free candy and keep yourself hydrate by drinking plenty of water. Doctor may alter the radiation dose , prescribe iron supplements , prescribe saliva substitute and recommend certain tongue exercise .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
