What Causes Soreness In Breast Area?

I have been experiencing extreme soreness of my nipples and breast areas. I take the following medications, would any of them cause this soreness?simvastatin,nifedipine,levothyroxine,lisinoprol,metropol,aspirin,d2000,and centrum, all of this for high blood pressure which us now under control ( recently retired)

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

You are using antihypertensive drugs as well as simvastatin like lipid lowering drug ....

These drugs usually not well known for causing nipple soreness ....

This soreness could be from superficial bacterial infection or pregnancy can be there if missed period for 10 days .....
For pregnancy detection if suspected USG and Hcg estimation useful ...

For infection antibiotic course can be taken...

Keep that area clean....

Consult surgeon for breast palpation if any abscess like area palpable ....If needed USG breast useful.....
