What Causes Soreness In Chest And Headache After A Neck Injury?

hi, my daughter recently had a neck injury where her head was knocked forcefully from behind and head forced into her chest. she and now has a sore chest and a headache. i thought she might have the flu as she has a fever and is dizzy and a sore throat but no cough or runny nose. wondering what could be causing this?
