What Causes Soreness In Lower Right-sided Abdomen While Exercising?

Hello, I am a healthy 81 yr old male working out at a fitness center 3xper week, cardio, weight lifting, stretching, etc. Over the past several I have a lower right side soreness, my first reaction is it is oblique muscles that get a good workout at the fitness center, not pain, I would say soreness like muscle soreness. Think this is what it is but wonder, any comments? Thanks.

Hi welcome to the health care magic

According to history and your symptoms it seems to be having muscular strain by exercise

If nausea and fever present than I will suggest to do USG for rule out appendicitis...

For muscle strain take rest

Ibuprofen taken for five days

Avoid strenuous work

Hot compress can be applied

Take healthy and balanced food...

Take care
