What Causes Soreness In Teeth And Jaw?

over the last two days I have experienced very uncomfortable soreness in my teeth (all of them) and jaw. I know that I do grind my teeth but I wear an invisalign retainer to bed. Just wondering what can cause this discomfort to start all of a sudden? I have been taking advil for the discomfort.

Hello

Thanks for consulting hcm

Read your query soreness in teeth and jaw can be due to habit of night grinding but sudden discomfort can be related to stress if you taking or due to retainer also . For this I will suggest you to consult oral surgeon for clinical examination and inmeantime do warm saline rinses 2 to 3 times a day and for soreness you can apply ointment like Mucopain or Mugel.

Hope this will help you .
