General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The baby should be okay, the pain or discomfort that you are experiencing may be solely related to injury to the muscles in that area. Signs or symptoms of an effect on the baby would be- cramping abdominal pain or vaginal bleeding.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
