What Causes Soreness In The Inner Thighs After Intercourse?

After having sex where I was on top, my inner thighs were sore for the next several days as I used muscles I don t typically. However, the pain has persisted only on my right side, and it feels more like I maybe tore something. When I lift my leg, it aches at the top of my inner thigh and groin area. Is this something I need to go to the dr. about or will putting ice on it and taking some anti-inflammatory meds help? It s been about three weeks now. Also, when I cough or sneeze, this area is painful. It s tolerable but doesn t feel good. Thanks for your input.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello there,
kindly visit a doctor so that the area that is painful can be examined for color of skin, pain on touch, any bulging in that area on cough.
till then you can try tablet flexon MR, voveran ointment, avoid massage in that area, ice as you suggested, rest to the affected limb.
regards
