What Causes Soreness In The Left Testicle?

My left testicle is very sore. There is also pain in the right testicle, but not as bad as the left. The pain often radiates down into my pelvis. I have used antibiotics (Amox-Clav) to no avail. I am not scheduled to see a Urologist until March 31. What can I do about the pain in the interim ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi! Some of the main causes of pain and soreness in testicles can be injury, urinary stones (radiating pain), infection, torsion, etc. Age, lifestyle, and history may be considered important in this case and if there is any swelling and severe pain then seeing a GP earlier can also be a good idea. Considering the late appointment with the Urologist, seeing the GP on an earlier date may be a better approach. To relieve the pain, over the counter painkillers like Diclofenac, Paracetamol, etc. are usually helpful.
