What Causes Soreness In The Muscles Of The Upper Arm?

Left upper arm muscle has been sore for a couple weeks. I don t remember doing an activity that caused it. I don t always feel it. Usually when I use it to reach around. Tonight lying in bed I noticed it - a dull ache. Not sure if this a symptom or concern.

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely tendonitis. Using NSAID gels like diclofenac or ketoprofen for local application will be helpful. You can also take NSAIDs like ibuprofen(motrin) for 3 to 5 days.
