What Causes Soreness In The Vagina After Intercourse?

I am new to sex and I have noticed that the day after intercourse and sometimes 2-3 days after my vagina is sore. Also, I find chunky discharge that I can only get out by removing with my finger or q tip. Also my perineum looks swollen and wrinkled?? But then after about 5 days later everything is fine. What is wrong?

Hello, I really appreciate your concern. Soreness of vagina is common after intercourse in case of insufficient lubrication in the vagina during intercourse. This may happen commonly while first time intercourse. Lesser the lubrication, excess the friction and higher the chances of soreness. Soreness ultimately leads to clear fluid discharge to relieve inflammation.
I advise you to spend more time in foreplay while intercourse. You can use lubrication gelly available in the market. Male condom with lubrication of female condom can be used.
Hope my answer has solved your query. Take Care.
Thank you.
