What Causes Soreness In The Vagina During Intercourse?

Hi I am going through the menapause and is very sore having sex , the doctor has given me Vagifem? and have ussed it for 3 days, this morning i had trouble getting the tiny blue tube inside , i put my finger in to investergate and it felt swallon and lumpy Thank You

Hello

Soreness of vagina after sex is common in peri-menopausal and menopausal women.
It is due to dryness of vagina.It is due to lack of estrogen with age.
You have been prescribed right medicines.
Vagifem is an estradiol vaginal tablets.It is a local estrogen therapy that treats uncomfortable vaginal changes due to menopause.
