Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I am a 19 year old female. I started taking my first dose of Vyvnase yesterday. Everything was fine until later that night my throat became sore and I had chills with a slight fever of 99.1. Today the fever is gone but the medicine is still in my system and I am experiencing muscle aches. These symptoms have to be because of the medicine since I was just fine before taking it. Please help I am scared and confused on why my body is doing this. I need to continue taking the medicine if I do not need to stop.
Your symptoms are mostly suggestive of some throat infection for which you can take some antibiotic like cefadroxyl or moxikind-cv after an expert opinion along with nimeson-p or ibugesic-plus for high grade fever. Do cold sponging to reduce the temperature of your body. Take syrup bro-zedex or asthakind for soothing of the throat. You can also complete the full course of chloroquine as advised by your local physician.
