What Causes Soreness Of The Leg Long After A Fall?

Hello..I am a 47 yr old woman. I tripped on one of my children's sneakers last week in our mudroom and fell. I have a sprained ankle (xray showed no breaks). My ankle is better, however, I believe I twisted my left leg, knee and calf. It has been 2 weeks and I am still so very sore. When i walk, my legs are so sore and I am stiff all over. I do get relief with advil every 6 hours. Is this normal to continue
to feel symptoms from this fall?
