Hello,
you can rinse your mouth and brush your tongue. Maintain good dental hygiene with gentle techniques. Your gastric acid content does cause temporary taste changes. The acid is strong enough with repeat exposure to damage and erode enamel. Work on getting your digestive tract back in good order and your mouth will feel better.
Try to take small amounts of liquids. You risk being dehydrated and should see your doctor if condition persists. Your mouth can develop an oral yeast infection. Your tongue will develop a coating and tissue soreness. Mefication such as Nyststin would be prescribed. Take probiotics, acidopholus and yogurt to prevent fungal infections.
I hope that you feel better soon. Thank you for your inquiry.
