What Causes Soreness On The Right Side Of The Nose?

I have an area on the right side of my nose that is sore to the touch, and I have pressure on the right side of my face including my ear. Ive been having headaches for a few months and dry irritated sore throat. I have wondered if it could be the apartment I'm living in at a self storage facility that the few people that have spent any amount of time here seem to agree with me. Does this sound logical?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that pain in nose along with pressure on right side of face and headache is most probably due to infection in the sinuses leading to Sinusitis

I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation
and investigations like PNS view x ray or MRI scan can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done
accordingly..

You can be advised a course of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, decongestants
like Pseudoephadrine, do saline nasal irrigation, steam inhalation and use a humidifier in your room..
You can also be advised decongestant nasal sprays containing Xylometazoline or Oxymetazoline..
Avoid spicy and chilled foods..
Do warm compresses around nostrils.
