What Causes Soreness On The Scalp?
From time to time I have a sore scalp! I have no idea why! I wash my hair and therefore scalp once a week. Maybe I need to do so more often. My hair is short. I am in a senior citizen but have had excellent health. I am not aware of any exceptional stress, and my last blood test October 2015 showed no problems, although I have not mentioned this to my primary care doctor.

First I would like to ask if there are some rashes or patches on scalp too?
As soreness can be because of infection or with no cause.It has to be check in person first.You may also upload pics of scalp here to further evaluate and know the cause.
