What Causes Sores In The Nostrils And Rashes On The Face?

my son has sores inside his nose and a rash on his face around the nose. He had the same problem a few weeks ago and he just finished a ten day antibiotic that made all the symptoms go away. He has been off the meds for three days and we are back to sores and a rash.

Hi,

As per your query, you have symptoms of sores in the nostrils and rashes on the face which seems to be due to an allergic reaction and it could be due to change in environment.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you drink plenty of water. Drink green tea daily it will purify skin and detoxify it. Wash face with clindamycin gel. Avoid the use of any steroids on the face. Apply aloe vera gel on face and take an antihistamine like Benadryl. You should visit a dermatologist once and get it examined. Go for skin allergy testing as well to find exact allergen. The doctor may also prescribe retinoids, a corticosteroid cream or vitamin supplement.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
