I have these little sores/scabs on my scalp from when I got chickenpox, and when picked at have pus (I believe) coming out and leave a little hole in it s place. It hurts when I brush my hair, and it has happened before, but a friend disinfected it for me and the holes closed up/wentaway for a few months and it s started again...
As per your case history you are probably suffering from scalp folliculitis. My treatment advice is: • Don't squeeze the lesions as it will worsen the condition • Stop applying hair oil for at least 2 weeks as it may spread the disease • Apply an antibiotic lotion like Clindamycin twice daily on scalp. Use a good antifungal shampoo like Dankare on alternate days. • Other treatment options are oral antibiotic, oral antifungal, and NSAID taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
