Hi, I have painful sores on my head that won t go away, it is causing my hair to break of, balding, been going on for months, tried everything, now my gland in my neck is swollen, don t know what to do. Any help would mean so much. Thank you,I am 62, and desperate,

I read your question and here is my advice.
These that you refer are symptoms of hypothyroidism. Seems like you are having goiter or thyroid nodules.
You should check for thyroid function doing
T3, T4, TSH.
The treatment depends on results of analysis.
