What Causes Sores On The Inside On The Buttocks?

I have quite a few sores on the inside of my buttocks and by my butthole. I have only been with one person sexually, and we were each other s firsts and our first time was about s year and a half ago. I m not sure if it s from chaffing or what but they re red and a couple of them hurt quite bad. Can you help me figure it out?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sores on the inside on the buttocks which is very common as dirt and moisture get trapped by your clothing and the friction that comes from sitting can cause pimple. It could be due to blockage of sebaceous glands leading to folliculitis or boils. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to keep this area clean and dry , apply cream containing azelaic acid , apply warm compresses with soaked towel and apply vitamin C serum at night. If condition doesn't get better then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor will examine physically along with blood test and sample for lab test . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants , antibiotics like clindamycin , anti inflammatory or anti fungal . Doctor may also prescribe benzoyl peroxide ointment .
